We're seeking an amazing full-time General Dentist for our practice in Billings, MO!

Beautiful contemporary practice with a solid patient base to ensure a full schedule each day with a variety of patients that provides you the ability to perform full-scope treatment. Our support staff is a highly-trained and tenured team with streamline processes. The ideal candidate for this position has a great chairside manner and is a team-player. About this position:

  • Great location- International airport in Billings for easy travel, amusement parks, outdoor recreation, day drive to Yellowstone National Park (2.5 hours), day drive to Big Sky Ski Resort (3 hours)
  • Established practice with approximately 200 NPs per month
  • 11 operatories

  • Full- scope dental services provided: Implants, Invisalign, endo, restorative, cosmetic, etc.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Examining patients' teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues.
  • Utilizing X-rays and computer-generated imaging to assist with examinations.
  • Providing dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity, and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, and veneers.
  • Administering local anesthesia to patients as needed.
  • Educating patients on good oral hygiene practices and advising them on proper aftercare following certain dental procedures.
  • Performing oral cancer screenings.
  • Prescribing antibiotics and pain medications to patients as required.
  • Ensuring that all dental instruments and equipment are sterilized before each use.
  • Taking impressions of patients’ mouths for the fabrication of customized mouthguards and dentures.

Requirements:

  • Montana dental license
  • CPR certification
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations of the dental profession (HIPAA, OSHA, CDC etc.)
  • Doctor of dental surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in dentistry (DMD)
  • 1-2 years practicing preferred however, not required
